Double Kiteloops are the trick of the hour, and they may be the new trick of the year. I don't believe that the 2X KL is that challenging or technical in the right conditions. When the wind is 40+ knots, I think it will be pretty simple to pull off the 2X KL. However, the consequences are enormous as one has to commit without knowing if the kite will catch them. It's the same as a standard kite loop but bigger.
I believe that we will start to see riders add technicalities to the 2X KL, and then it will be wild. 2X KL board off, maybe?
I'm excited to play with them soon, but I need to wait for the right conditions.
